Hard limit to internal block lookup for links - configurable?

There seems to be a hard limit to the amount of data that appears in the lookup window when searching for blocks to link to (using #^). Is there a way to increase the size of the data the lookup makes available in that window?

What I’m trying to do

A lot of my notes make reference to academic articles and books. These I bring into Obsidian from Zotero as marked up text. As the articles are dense, long, and I’m new to many of the ideas, there can be a lot of text imported. 40,000 characters is pretty typical of their size.

From these I write summary notes, linking back to the imported annotations. As these imported files are long I often hit the limit of the #^ lookup and have to then start creating block identifiers manually, something I’d rather not do.

Is there a way to increase the amount of text I can look up when creating links (with #^)?

Thanks very much
