Handling published work and notes in Obsidian

I jumped into Obsidian trying to connect my old notes and creating new notes as I grow wiser.

I have published a lot of articles on websites. What are other people doing to have those articles kind of connected to the notes in Obsidian, so connections in the thinking appear?

I do my writing in Obsidian and have imported my old projects to my vault.

I use a projects folder in Obsidian. Here I have my output related notes with links to the publishing web sites. Also Iā€˜m using templates to create a consistent structure.
