Group force in graph view

+1 to this, and I think there is a general problem and solution here: having force(s) in the graph that only affect a subset of nodes - in this case basically a slider for “apply force to group”, with 0 being no effect. But having a slider for folders, a slider.for note type (.md, .canvas, .base) or a slider for tags could allow for a lot of.flexibility in creating different views into the vault.

I found this thread because I was looking for a way to bunch together/group nodes in the graph by their proximity in the folder hierarchy. Notes that only share the same root folder would push each other further away, whilst those in the same sub-sub-sub-folder would pull together. With these two rules it should already cause the grouping to happen quite naturally, and if they were sliders in the already existing graph, one can tweak them to their liking (even disabling them fully).
