Use case or problem
In graph view, I want to give more importance to my more “central” notes. I use obsidian for notes for uni, and I have a couple of notes that pretty much everything is based on (e.g., some stuff about calculus). There is one note, however, that is the center of all my notes. It’s to the point where you can trace a path from pretty much every note to my central one. I want to make that one very big. (red note in the middle)
Proposed solution
Calculate note size not just based on direct backlinks but also count how many other notes can be traced back to the note. Perhaps adjust the “weight” of the calculation based on how far the links are. For example, notes with 2 degrees of separation have a bigger impact on size calculation than those with 5 degrees of separation.
