What I’m trying to do
I want to use a hotkey (Command+Shift+[) to kick “Go to previous tab”, but nothing happens.
Things I have tried
Assign another hotkey to “Go to previous tab” and found it works
Try to assign “Command + [” to another hotkey, but the key cannot be assigned (nothing happens when I try to assign the hotkey)
“Go to next tab” (Command+Shift+]) works
Command+Shift+[ works in Chrome (go to previous tab)
I tried to find conflicting hotkeys at the system or application levels but could not find them.
I’d suggest try it in the Sandbox vault, or a new test vault. If it works there, you may have narrowed it down to settings in your vault.
Although since you said you are having trouble even assigning the hotkey, I imagine it is at the application level.

I have completely same problem with my both 2 different Macbooks too.
I tested couple of apps but others don’t have this issue, just Obsidian ignores whatever hotkey that includes Command+[
.
reproduced OS version↓
Sonoma 14.1.1
Sonoma 14.5
Sequoia 15.0.1
