Highlight a text selection, press option+x, search through files within your notes directory to find the specific file you want to add it to, and then append it to the bottom. The first time you write it, you’ll need to ender the filepath to your notes directory (e.g. ~/Dropbox/Notes ). At the point of insertion, you decide whether to leave a copy of the text in the original location or whether it is just fully moved to the new location by selecting the cut or move version of the file.
