I may have seen some FR over at Templater GH Issues but the maintainer had no response…?
We should have a setting to not only register templates, but hide commands we don’t need. So I quite Templater for scripts and only use the plugin for new file generation on demand.
It depends on the volume of the output. If it’s instant, then you cannot tell the difference. If it’s a long wait, you get an “Interactivity is busy” notice on the status bar. Not ideal, granted, when the output is somewhere around 8000 tokens.
