If you’ve ever copied a note out of Obsidian and watched the formatting fall apart (headings flattening, tables turning into pipe characters, bold showing as asterisks) this plugin is
for you.

Unmarkdown converts your notes into properly formatted output for six destinations, directly from a right-click menu:

  • Google Docs: real heading styles that show up in the document outline, native tables, styled code blocks
  • Word: proper H1–H6 heading styles that work with navigation pane and table of contents
  • Slack: correct mrkdwn syntax, link formatting, bold/italic conversion
  • OneNote: all heading levels, tables, code blocks
  • Email: inline CSS that renders across Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail
  • Plain Text: strips markdown syntax, clean readable output

You can also publish any note to the web with a shareable URL. 62 templates to choose from (8 free, rest behind Pro).

Authentication is OAuth 2.1 — no password stored in the plugin. Requires a free account at [Link](``https://unmarkdown.com``)unmarkdown[dot]com.
