Freezes after update to v1.7.4

After the latest update, I noticed that Obsidian has started to lag significantly.

  1. I can see the notes and lists within them being redrawn when opened.
  2. Creating notes (by Templater plugin) now takes 2 seconds instead of fractions of a second.
  3. The Canvas noticeably lags.

I checked memory usage — it was around 250MB, but now it’s only 40MB. I suspect that the caching mechanism has been disabled. This might be nice for some systems, but I have plenty of memory, so I would prefer everything to run faster rather than consuming less memory.

It could be a community plugin, theme, etc., issue.
