Hi there

I have changed the Attachment folder path to “files” and created a “files” folder directly under the Vault folder.

When I drag images to Obsidian, it places them in the main vault location, and not the “files” location.

Is there something else I need to do ?

There shouldn’t be anything else you need to do. Are the directories spelled exactly the same, all lower case?

Sequence?
Was the folder set up before changing path?
Because if it was it’s just about selecting it.

Try right clicking on the folder and select “Set as attachment folder”. The formatting might be a little off if you write it first and then create it.
