Files from a Non-Synced-Vault appearing in Sync-Vault

Hello,

What I’m trying to do

I have a Vault, that is in Sync-Mode (Standard-Sync) and some other vaults, they are not in sync. Often, i found a file from a non-synced-vault in the sync-vault.

Example:

Non-Sync-Vaults “Vault-A” with files/notes “A1” and “A2” and “Vault-B” with Files “B1” and “B2”
Sync-Vault “Vault-C” with files “C1” and “C2”

In most cases, if i change contents of “A1”, i can find this file in Vault-C (Sync)

Why is this happen and what can i do to prevent it?

Things I have tried

I found nothing similar in the docs. I tried to close vaults before i open another vault, but this does not help.

What OS?

Are your vaults nested inside each other?

thanks for your reply.

The OS is Linux (Mint 22) and on the Smartphone (which is the reason for syncing) is Android 14 installed.

The vaults are not nested, it looks similar to this:

Vault-A
A1
A2
Vault-B
B1
B2
Vault-C
C1

And after a while it looks like this:

Vault-C
C1
A1

A1 in Vault-C is then a copy of the A1 in Vault-A.
