Obsidian acts as if the vault is empty. Both the FIle Explorer and Search In Files returns empty. Adding a new file or directory does not appear to do anything, but if I look in my Desktop Files App, I can see “unnamed” files and folders appearing. I was able to still see my tags, interacting with them ran a search that yielded no results.
I tried deleting my .obsidian folder and recreating the vault. Nothing changed except that I could no longer see my tags. I assume this is because I deleted the cache, but the thing of note is that whatever Obsidian does to index is not being done.
