I could not reproduce this in the sandbox vault, so it is likely a theme or plugin issue.

I’m using Obsidian 1.1.9 and I copied and pasted those characters into a folder and a note name without problems.

Sometimes my Obsidian bugs out and causes display errors that go away if I reopen my vault. Try restarting (closing and opening) your vault and see if that fixes the issue. If not, try creating a new vault without any plugins or changes and see if the problem is still happening there.
