Greetings.
Pressed the name of an uncreated note in the switcher that had unsupported characters in its name and said string appeared. Pretty sure a message in the lines of “File could not be created.” should appear instead. Just a heads-up.
This was tested in a sandbox Vault — no plugins, no themes, no CSS. Have a nice week

Kind of unrelated but I do not know why user @WhiteNoise keeps changing the category of my posts First it goes from FR to PI which, okay, may be valid (although I wanted it as a feature, not a plugin — pretty different, but okay), and now this. I’m pretty sure that this is closer than a bug report than a help request, please.
There are good mods here like @ariehen and @CawlinTeffid that genuinely help others and take their role as mods pretty seriously, but not everyone seems to aim at that. “BR” means devs will look into it, “Help” means users may look into it and lend a hand”. They’re very different.
This is my last post here so I wanted to thank both mods for their assistance so far. Not only for me but also everyone else. I came here looking to share ideas and help other users, and I wish for that to keep happening. So please, keep this place human, civic.

Valid as well, but it is still not help. This is for the Obsidian devs, not for the community. I just wanted to share that because it may be an issue, but it’s not one to me so I just wanted to post the image and there it is.
I respect the community rules anyways ans I understand the reasoning behind them, but you must also recognize that moving it to “Help” doesn’t solve it either. Maybe add a sort of grey area for posts with missing information? Again, it’s not even about me, it’s just to keep a good track on stuff like these.
“I did not understand what you were talking about either” in my original post? Really? In any case you could ask for clarification prior to the category switch. I am not pretty internet active but I do reply when possible, like I did just now. Ask an user for clarification, and if they don’t reply then do what you must.
Like said it’s not the first time this happens, and I’ve seen the harsh treatment on other posts as well. I get it that you’re a mod; I’ve also worked with managing communities in the past, and that’s why I know communication and understandment with the user is crucial.
People will follow your examples, so be a good one.

To clarify, WhiteNoise works with the development team to manage bug reports and feature requests, so that’s the main thing you’ll see them doing here.
