[file](file:///...) does not support relative path

Steps to reproduce

the file path is “C:/Users/qiush/OneDrive/Obsidian/attachment/data.xlsx”

  1. type external link with relative path: [file](file:///attachment/data.xlsx) or [file](file:///./attachment/data.xlsx)
  2. click the link in preview mode

Expected result

the file should be opened

Actual result

nothing shows up

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Obsidian version: 0.7.3
  • Using custom CSS: No
