File explorer status saved in workspace

Use case or problem

Often, specific workspaces correspond with particular folders in the file explorer. At present, loading up a workspace does nothing to the file explorer, requiring a bunch more clicking to get the right folder(s) expanded.

Proposed solution

Workspaces could save information about folder collapse status, so that loading a workspace would make relevant folders visible.

Now that the file explorer has received a little love in the most recent update, I’m wondering if saving folder expansion status to the workspace file might be in the cards? I actually forgot I’d made this request on the forum already and found it while searching to make it again…
