Steps to reproduce

  1. Click on a file in the File Explorer.
  2. Rename the file. (Doesn’t matter whether via right-click or in the file header)
  3. The file explorer “jumps” down the page (the recently renamed file disappears above the fold)

Expected result

The file explorer should stay still when renaming a file. It should not “jump” around.

Actual result

The file explorer “jumps” downward. It moves the recently renamed file up above the fold. See the video posted above.

Environment

  • Operating system: MacOS Catalina 10.15.6

  • Obsidian version: v0.9.2 (this has been a problem on all previous versions as well)
