It’d be great to have a button to quickly access a command palette without need for an external keyboard. See iA Writer for some examples on how this could work.

As a thought while it occurs to me, pulling down without the keyboard open could reveal the command palette. The ideal implementation would be akin to iA writer, where commands and files are searched at the same time, in two sections of the same menu.
