If it’s not already available, would it be possible for the mouse to activate the UI side panel by having an (>) visible?
Follow up to the original Post-
Issue becomes MORE acute when using App in iPadOS Split View. Using the Mouse or Finger more often results on shrinking the Obsidian screen (making it smaller) than selecting the UI bar. See 2nd JPG.
