Failure to save file

Checking to see if anyone knows what’s going on here…

I get an alert in Obsidian

Failed to save file "notes 7.md" EBADF: bad file descriptor, open '/Users/tarvydas/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox/ps/notes 7.md'. Make a backup the the contents of this file now to avoid losing data.

This looks like I’ve run out of space, but info says that Macintosh HD has GB’s of space.

“df”, though says:

noting that /System/Volumes/Data/home is 100%.

Suggestions?

Isn’t that related to Dropbox and its connection or its storage capacity rather than storage on the Mac itself?

Great if you can copy the note or its contents to somewhere else safe in the interim. Would you then be able to create another note to test if the error is repeatable or just a one-off glitch? If the text is saved, a cold reboot might help to clear any temporary gremlins.

@eightning Thanks for replying. You caused me to consider other possibilities. I’m currently investigating whether a preventative-reboot has been sufficient to solve my problem. Thanks.
