Failed to sync pdf from windows to phone sometime

What problems I meet

Failed to sync pdf from Windows to iPhone:

  • Sometimes I use computer and drag PDF files to the obsidian and I can browser it on Obsidian(computer) successfully but there are not such a PDF synced on my iPhone when I open Obsidian on my Phone.
  • It just shows that it is a empty files even not be create and just had a name.Then I clicked it and still empty

Background

  • I have pay for the Obsidian sync serve and use it to sync my notes
  • .md files can be synced fast from one device to the other but PDF is not such a case
  • After draging PDF in computer to
  • I had selected the sync PDF files on sync settings
  • Device detailed: Windows 11 and iPhone 13 with IOS 26.0
  • Software detailed: both Obsidian on computer or Phone are newest version
  • The sync space is still enough
  • The network can work nice
  • The sync static shows sync finished with green tick
  • sync PDF seldom successfully
  • iCloud to Obsidian had been agreed
  • Sometimes sync PDF from computer to phone is successfully but seldom

in the Third point on background ,it should be:
After draging PDF(on computer) to Obsidian(on computer) I can view the PDF on Obsidian(on computer). But my phone just show the empty files to be create with the same name as the PDF. On my computer,the PDF on obsidian is exist as a new file and can be view that its content like a PDF

A few initial questions to answer, and hopefully others can jump in:

  • What Sync plan are you using? Standard or Plus? Standard has a limit of 5MB for syncing files; PDFs >5MB won’t sync.

  • Are you using Obsidian Sync with a vault that’s stored in iCloud Drive on the phone? Two sync services working on the same vault can cause conflicts, unexpected behavior, or worse. https://obsidian.md/help/sync#Important

I use standard version to sync with PDFs > 5MB and the Obsidian app is saved to iCloud in the same time. Thank you very much
