Failed to install plugin

Steps to reproduce

On a fresh install of current Obsidian, I turned restricted mode off and attempted to install various community plugins.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes, and I also cannot install plugins to the sandbox vault.

Expected result

Successful installation of the plugins.

Actual result

The following error message: “Failed to install plugin “PluginName”.”.

It seems, once again, a regional or ISP issue connecting to Github. I saw multiple reports on Discord in the past 12 hours or so.

Some things to try for the time being:

  • Change the DNS server on your router or device.
  • Use a mobile connection.
  • Use a VPN with a different location.

@11ptbaskerville I saw a few folks on Discord mention the internet weather has passed and it fixed itself. What’s the status on your end?
