For long form writers who usually keep there side panels open this could be a great plugin for an auto distraction free writing mode. The interface should fade back up after a few seconds of not typing.
There are many plugins to hide interface elements and/or close side panes, but none that do it this way.
Yeah, this is something I’ve been thinking about as well.
Having an easy way to have all interface elements fade out / become hidden while typing (kind of like an ultra-minimal focus mode of sorts) would be great for longer-form writers.
I’m not quite sure if this could also be a core feature request, since it would attract more of the ultra minimalist subset of writers out there (IMHO).
