Use case or problem
I am creating a reference link with [my link][external-reference] and place said reference elsewhere (usually at the bottom)
Currently the link shows no decoration.
Proposed solution
It should display the same decoration as [foo](https://example.org) does ( a tiny superscript arrow showing it will open in a new window)
Current workaround (optional)
Nothing, this is an small enhancement that makes the improve consistency.
