Trying to export a multiple-page PDF from Obsidian (version 1.10.6) to Adobe Acrobat (version 25.001.20937.0) on my desktop using Windows 11 (version 24H2). It exports the first PDF page only. I downloaded Obsidian on 12/6/2025 as I am a newbie to Obsidian. Steps I took: I started a new note in Obsidian; copy/paste a 12 page PDF located on my computer into the note; I clicked upper-right corner for the 3 dots for more options; selected “Export to PDF”; saved the PDF file on my computer; opened it in Adobe; and only first page of PDF appears.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes
Expected result
12 of 12 pages exported as a PDF
Actual result
Only page 1 was exported to PDF

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Community plugins: for bugs, please first try updating all your plugins to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community plugins.
You have several export-related plugins that may be interfering. Open a sandbox vault and try exporting from there.
If it works in the sandbox, then go through your plugins to see which are at play.
But if it doesn’t work in the sandbox, then it might depend on the content. I can’t tell from your description what method you used to “paste a 12 page PDF”. I suggest doing this:
Type a line of text in a new note (no special formatting, just plain text). Copy that line and paste it several times until you have two or three pages’ worth of plain text. Export the note to confirm whether multipage is working for you. Assuming it works…
Open your PDF, select and copy the content, and then right click in a new note and select Paste as plain text (or press Ctrl + Shift + V). Even if the formatting isn’t exactly what you want, export to PDF to confirm whether multipage works with that content. Assuming it works…
Try again with your formatted content.
At the last step (and at all the “assuming it works” steps), if the export cuts off at any page, investigate the content near the cutoff location to see what type of content isn’t exporting.
Thanks Dawni. I tested the issue in sandbox without success. I followed your steps, and it still doesn’t work. I typed a few lines and copy/paste several times to create 7 pages in a new note; exported the note to PDF. Only 1 of 7 pages was exported. Then, I copied (Ctrl + C) 7-page PDF file located in my File Explorer on my computer and selected “Paste as Plain Text”; exported to PDF. Only 1 page was the result. I did it again, but selected “paste” instead of “paste as plain text” with the same result (only 1 page PDF). I tried again 2 more times (copy/paste as plain text) with a different 18-page PDF and 2-page PDF, both times resulted as a 1-page PDF when I exported.
I was able to reproduce your example with $$$, which worked fine for me. However, my issue was when I had a multipage PDF embedded in a note (I used the $$$ above as my embedded PDF for this test), and then select “export to PDF”. It only exported the first page.
