What I’m trying to do
Let’s say I’m trying to search for all quotes by Carl Sagan. I might try:
#note/type/quote Author: [[Sagan, Carl]]
But for every note there are two results, one for the tag and one for the author link.
If I also add “AND” (e.g. #note/type/quote AND Author: [[Sagan, Carl]]), I get even more results, every note that has “and” in it—basically all my notes.
This case is still manageable. Sometimes if the search words are general enough, I can get tons of results for the exact same note, which adds way too much noise.
Maybe I’m just not using the search correctly.
What are some strategies for searching such that I only see one result per note?
