Use case or problem
I try to use the “unlinked mentions” section to maintain backlinks as good as possible.
Therefore the automatic linking function (the button that shows up for unlinked mentions) is quite useful. Unfortunately I do get the unlinked mention also for headlines of files.
It would be great to be able to exclude headers(# and ##…) in the target files from getting the “internal link” treatment.
This would really boost how well links would be maintained. Additionally a “create all unlinked mentions automatically” button - a Top-Level “Link” button if you will - that automatically accepts all link buttons below would be a nice touch.
Proposed solution
- Exclude the headlines/headers in the unlinked mentions markdown files from the automatic linking proposal
- Allow all link recommendations in Unlinked Mentions section to be accepted at once rather than one after the other

There is no workaround that I know/have found.
