This is the plugin I’ve been using all along, and it’s fantastic!
Can anyone explain why in some cases it decides not to render but, instead, shows a message: “Switch to EXCALIDRAW VIEW in the MORE OPTIONS menu of this document. 
You can decompress Drawing data with the command palette: ‘Decompress current Excalidraw file’. For more info check in plugin settings under ‘Saving’“
I’m not an experienced user so I have no clue what this means: Why ‘decompress’? I don’t recall compressing it in the first place.
IN any case, there is no ‘decompress’ command in the command palette. I only know that I created these drawings, They were visible and now they’re not. I’m using Obsidian on a Mac desktop and it’s up to date. As is Excalidraw.
Perhaps I should address these questions to the creator…
