Errors exporting to pdf

I’m encountering several errors and issues when exporting Markdown to PDF (on Obsidian v1.8 macOS 2025):

  1. Page breaks are not respected when exporting to PDF, and solutions via HTML don’t always work.

  2. Images exported to PDF display the image and the filename below it, when only the image should appear.

  3. When exporting to PDF, there’s no way to respect the float of text around an image.

  4. When placing multiple images side by side, dimensions and alignment are not respected.
