I would love a plugin that adds some kind of equation editor for those of us not expert with Latex. The perfect example is mathcha that also supports diagrams.

Have you checked out Markdown Formatting Assistant plugin?

It does help with some basic math notation.

I didn´t know that plugin but it has very few math operators.
