Embedded note appears without content, only a header

Steps to reproduce

Add a embed to the note like ![[Note#heading]]
In my case, the heading is a link like ## [[heading]]
It only happens when the note is linked with a heading.
Either switch between tabs, or switch between notes in the file explorer.

Expected result

I expected to see the note content underneath the heading in the embed

Actual result

I’m seeing the header of the note, but not the content in the embed. It appears blank. When I click on the embed to go to the note, I see that the properties are folded. I don’t know if this is related, but I don’t fold the properties on any notes typically.

Additional information

This is what the embed looks like in my daily note when it isn’t showing any content. It only shows the header. I used a grey bar to blur the name of the note through a snippet I use. It still shows this with or without the snippet.

Do you see the same behavior after turning on Settings > Community Plugins > Restricted Mode? And more generally did you follow the troubleshooting guide linked in the bug report template?

I don’t see the behavior, but I’m on the public release and I saw on Discord that you found it only happens in the beta.

I am using the latest beta, but with a more-recent installer. I don’t see an error. A full install might help.

Yes, I did notice this happening in restricted mode as well. When I switched between restricted mode and with plugins, it stayed the same. It only changes back to appearing with the content when I reload the note that is being embedded.

I also did notice this only in the beta version. I’m going to try to see if I notice it in the issue again today with the beta and updated installer. Thanks for following up about this!

Can you enable restricted mode, use default theme, no snippet. Restart Obsidian.

Does it happen there?

I’m having trouble replicating it. I did update the installer. Could that be why?

I’ll keep you updated if I notice it again. Right now, I can’t seem to replicate the issue.
