Links are not supposed to disappear from the page. Link embeds should still show the link that is being embedded so the user can edit the link, manipulate the text around it etc without switching views or changing context. This is completely inaccessible and I’m not sure what the use-case is. Someone can make links disappear with custom css but it’s a holy pain to anyone who needs this app to be accessible from the start.

Embedded links become invisible when they are created. That is not the intended behavior for links. That’s not a request, its a bug that renders them inaccessible.
Do you mean the text of link disappears if the cursor is not there?
You can just click on the embed to move the cursor there and make the link appear.
If you the text of the link to be permanently visible, please search/open a feature request.
