Things I have tried

The minimal theme is the theme that I use all the time, but this preview issue really is a big problem in some scenarios.

I have tried to tweak the css file in several different ways, including deleting the whole section for embed. Doesn’t work.

The FOBO note won’t show in preview, but another embedded image rendered properly.
