Editor ignores "Tab size: 2" setting for nested lists (always inserts 4 spaces)

The “Tab size” setting in Obsidian seems to only affect the visual rendering width of the indentation within the Obsidian editor.

Yes, in fact it’s not “tab size”. It’s “Indent visual width”.

Right now, when the tab key is pressed it is possible to configure Obsidian to enter either one tab char or 4 spaces. Some users likely prefer to have a way to specify the number of spaces a tab key-press is converted to. It is important to note that Obsidian does NOT support proper delimiter based indentation (that dictates a variable number of spaces for proper indentation). Right now, indenting with anything different than 1 tab or 4 spaces will be broken.
