Duplicated text on long tables/notes

Hello. Unsure if this is a bug, and even if it is I’m still not entierly sure if this is on Obsidian’s end.

The thing is that some of my work require me to type a lot, so I end up having tables with 1k and even up to 4k entries (the latter is still a wip :sob:). So… where’s the issue? That the bigger a note becomes, it starts duplicating itself.

It usually happens while switching to reading mode. While loading the table, the scroll bar’s size changes drastically and super fast — meaning the note has a lot of text on it, but sometimes it won’t stop changing until I press the edit button, only to find out that (example) 400 out of 1000 entries have been duplicated… you would expect it to be 1400 entries then, but no, it keeps on duplicating itself to a point when I get bored of pressing the delete button.

Don’t ask me how, but I’ve found out that there are even more chances of this to happen if you press Ctrl+Z on Windows, and I think undoing stuff on mobile triggers this issue too, but can’t say for sure.

Again, this happens on big/long files only, my “small” notes (luckily) don’t get this issue, although recently some notes that include tables with around 200 entries started duplicating themselves too, and those are pretty small compared to most I have.

I’ve experienced similar issues on places like Evernote. I type super fast, really, and sometimes my text gets duplicated and displaced or deletes more than I wanted to, even if it’s just a single word, but I’ve never used tables on notes before Obsidian so…

Well, I’ve already found a workaround, which is not undoing and switching from reading to source instead of reading to live edit. So hope this helps if anyone has a similar issue. Cheers
