Drag and drop from File Explorer ignores "New link format" setting and drops custom name

Steps to reproduce

(Please refer to the GIF at the end of this report for a visual demonstration.)

  1. Go to Settings > Files and links > New link format, and change it to something other than Shortest path when possible(e.g., path from vault folder or path from current file).

  2. Open any Markdown file.

  3. Drag a file from the left File Explorer and drop it into the active editor.

Expected result

The automatically generated link should respect the New link format configured in the settings.

Actual result

The generated link ignores the New link format setting. Furthermore, the generated text only contains the file path and loses the custom name (display text).
