Hi - when I drag and drop a file from my Mac Finder into Obsidian, a copy of the file get created, is stored in Obsidian’s location for attachments, a link gets created on my Obsidian page, and a preview gets shown on the page. The link that is created has a “!” in front of it to show the preview. If I remove the “!”, everything stays the same except the preview is removed.
Is there a way to be able to change the default behavior so that imported files do not come in with the “!” so I can have the file move into Obsidian’s attachment folder, a link shown on the Obsidian page, but NO PREVIEW of the file? Please advise…
