I’m very new to Obsidian and I’m interested in learning more about the syncing feature. Does Obsidian use Google Cloud for this feature?

The servers for the addon services Obsidian Sync and Publish are hosted with DigitalOcean.
But with notes just being a bunch of Markdown files, you can use whatever service you like.
