What I’m trying to do
On Windows 11.
I’m trying to use the Atkinson Hyperlegible Next Variable font, with font-weight: 423 (official font download link).
The problem is, as i’m changing the font-weight via a css file, it does not change for every number.
Instead, the text has the same size for the following ranges:
- 400..449
- 450..549
.markdown-preview-view p,
.markdown-source-view.mod-cm6 .cm-line {
font-weight: 400;
font-weight: 449;
font-weight: 450;
font-weight: 451;
font-weight: 549;
font-weight: 550;
}
As i’m using a Variable font, not a fixed one, i expect every individual font-weight to look a tiny bit different.
What obsidian is doing though is just making the font a bit bolder.
