Hi everyone, I built Document Exporter, an open-source Obsidian community plugin for exporting selected notes, folders, or query results into shareable document outputs.

The workflow I wanted to improve is selected-file export. Sometimes I do not want to export a full folder or only the current note. I want to choose the exact notes that belong in a handoff, report, or review packet and export them together.

Document Exporter focuses on:

  • Exporting selected notes.
  • Exporting selected folders.
  • Exporting query results.
  • Creating PDF-ready output.
  • Preparing client, research, or team handoff documents.
