It would be useful to have an option to display the note title when using the Page Preview plugin, especially when using link titles that differ from the actual note title.

seems like an easy thing to implement.
Try Hover Editor in Community Plugins. It enhances the core “Page Preview” plugin by turning the hover popover into a full featured editor instance.
