I completely agree with @jimgar. I’ve spent a long time to try out different note taking solutions and finally decided to settle with Obsidian. But this super annoying auto saving feature has changed my mind. I’m using synology drive as sync solution. Everytime I make changes to the file it would be synced to my NAS, even I just typed one letter. Sometimes when the file size is large it consumes a lot of network data. I completely don’t understand why it is designed like this. Hope the dev team can heard and do something about it. It could be a perfect solution for me if this is fixed.
