i need to delete community plugins section or delete it cuz i can search goggle from it and get distracted mean while iam in a websites block from another application , any help?
I believe you can use an app to block the connections Obsidian makes to the plugin repository. This may help you get started: Security considerations for teams - Obsidian Help. It doesn’t list specific addresses, but blocking Obsidian from accessing GitHub should do it.
i cant find anything related in the web page , can u tell me where i should search in this web page?
Under the “GitHub-sourced connections” section I linked to, the “Third-party themes and plugins” part is saying that Obsidian access GitHub for plugins. It doesn’t instruct how to prevent that. You should be able to use a firewall or something to prevent Obsidian from connecting to GitHub, which should prevent it from loading the community plugin listings. Altho it also uses GitHub for Obsidian updates, so you may need to inspect Obsidian’s network traffic to find what exactly to block.
I’ll file a request on the Help site’s GitHub to include the needed info. EDIT: done. GitHub connection details · Issue #897 · obsidianmd/obsidian-help · GitHub
