Default big file opens as blank, read-only

Steps to reproduce

Settings > Files and links > Default file to open: Specific file

The issue arised first when the specific default file is about 12kB of size, stuck since. Could be a red herring.

Close the mobile app and open normally.

Expected result

The default file opens.

Actual result

A note with the name of the default file opens, but it displays as empty. It has one line (according to the line number display), which cannot be edited. After reopening the note using other navigation options (Quick Switcher, file view etc.) the file displays as intended.

I do not know how to edit a report, but there’s new information:

The issue also arises after the screen is locked and unlocked after a longer while.

hello. I have been unable to repro this.

Please,

Create a new empty vault, copy the problematic note in this new vault and make a screen recording.

Upload here (or DM me) the screen recording and the the note where this happens.

I think the same user and issue as briefly discussed on Discord shortly before this BR.

Don’t know if it’s helpful or not, but apparently using the “View Note” mobile widget opens the note as expected.
