Daily notes no longer showing up in calendar view

Didn’t use Obsidian whilst on Holiday and now that I’m back, my daily notes are not indicated (dots) in the calendar plug-in. I go back several months and no dots are on any dates! They have all disappeared.

Things I have tried: All the note dotes are gone from the calendar.

When I click on an earlier date where I have made a daily note, I get a pop-up letting me know that there is no note for that date and asking if I’d like to create one. I toggled the calendar plugin off and on and the results are the same. No notes showing up. But, of course, they are there. I double checked to make sure that I didn’t make any changes to preferences. I checked the calendar plug in notes and see that it hasn’t been updated in five years. The only note showing up on the calendar is the one for today which I just created.

I am using the latest build for Obsidian.

Any advice would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Please link which Calendar community plugin you use?

Did some messing around and discovered that, for some reason, the calendar could no longer find daily notes that had been created/placed in nested folders in the main Daily Notes folder. So I changed the placement of the notes into the root Daily Notes folder. That seems to have cleared things up, but I am at a loss as to understand why this happened as I have been changing the new created daily note folder to the nested folder for the current month. Weird.
