I followed the custom domain guide and bought a domain yesterday but my site (danielegalati.com still doesn’t work. I bought the domain through Namecheap. The Publish link is https://publish.obsidian.md/danielegalati

maybe you just need to wait until the new dns is propagated.
try from your phone with a mobile connection.

It is working fine for me. So you must have a problem with you dns resolution locally.
Either you cached on your devices the wrong DNS result and you need to wait of manually bust the cache.
Also, you only set up https://danielegalati.com/ not the (redirection of) https://www.danielegalati.com/
