I find it a little bit counter intuitive that opening a link in new pane is CTRL+SHIFT+Click but opening from the file explorer to a new pane is CTRL+Click whereas CTRL+SHIFT+Click in the file explorer does nothing.
These mappings do not seem to be customizable in the settings.
Why not double up so that the CTRL+SHIFT+Click in the file explorer also opens note in new pane.
