CSS file - Enable configurable location for CSS (rather than in Vault)

Hello, I would appreciate if I could configure Obsidian to read obsidian.css from a configurable location in my file system (e.g. ~ home directory) instead of requiring it to reside in the Vault.

I am using Obsidian with DEVONthink Pro which controls access to its internal filesystem. I’ve loved using the two in tandem so far but a side-effect is that I can’t add the CSS file to the vault directory  I imagine this could be a useful feature for other users though, too, as they could e.g. link to a css file that’s tracked in a git repository external to their vault.

TYIA!

I agree. Not everyone cares about this specific nitpicky detail, but for this of us who do, it would be a nice option to have.
