Please add the option for cross tables in Bases. A cross table is a two-way table consisting of columns and rows. It is also known as a pivot table or a multi-dimensional table. Its greatest strength is its ability to structure, summarize and display large amounts of data. Cross tables can also be used to determine whether there is a relation between the row variable and the column variable or not.
Usecase: I have files for many artists in my vault; in the properties I have recorded the dates of life and countries of birth. Now I would like to see in a cross table how the artists are distributed over the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries across the European countries Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany and England.
Such functionality would be fantastic. Thank you very much!
