Creating a new file on iPad using the “+” tab button. This opens a “New tab” with a menu. If I tap on “Create new file”, it creates a new file and opens it in a new tab, leaving the “New tab” open.
This is the only way to create a new file in a new tab instead of overwriting an existing tab.
This might be only affecting iPads.
Open the newly created filed in the “New tab”. This is the way it works when opening an existing file from the “New tab”.
Go back and close the “New tab”.
This is a duplicate of this feature request, but I think I’ve stated things a little more clearly, and I’m not sure if that user was using an iPad or not. It seems like this issue was already fixed on desktop.
